Balloon Festoon!

 It's quite frequent that I get inspiration from wrapping paper, and this card is a case in point. I also wonder if you're ever too old to have numbered Birthday Balloons on your card? I think never ;-)

Here I've used The Balloon Festoon Bundle

Simply printing the Happy Birthday sentiment in Real Red, Crushed Curry, Balmy Blue  and Night of Navy for a background, using the Balloon Dies and some retired glimmer cardstock for the Balloons and Silver glimmer for the Birthday Numbers from a retired die set.

Play Day!

 Somehow, we're half way through May, the Main Catalogue has changed, and I'm only just staring to play with some of the new products I've indulged myself with.

When I received my copy of the new slimline main catalogue, I poured over the pages, (as I do with every new release), and easily found Suites I could justify ;-)

This is my first distraction into the Moonlit Flora Suite, an easy buy when Fern Fronds unfurling is one of my favourite things.

A very quick and simple card, 

using Mossy Meadow cardstock for the 

Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder, 

a Butterfly and greeting that I had just lying around, 

but the unfurling frond added in 

Old Olive cardstock using the Fern & Flora Dies

April Already!

 Somehow it's nearly the end of April, and we're on the threshold of the Mini catalogue expiring and the new Main Catalogue change over, and I'm not really keeping up with the changes. So as an attempt to catch up, here's a card I made in March using the Simply Beautiful Dies from the Lovely & Beautiful Suite from the Mini Catalogue.

I simply used the dies to build the flower edging in Melon Mambo and Blackberry Bliss, with white foliage from the 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar, with silver glimmer stamen, rhinestone centers and frosted gem embellishments.
