A little more recycling in the Rain!

So here are a little more mistakes made good - Baja Breeze and Wisteria Wonder (In Colour DSP) with Scallop Trim Corner punch and Blossom Petal Builder punch, held in place with a In Colour polka dot brad and Get Well Soon greeting from the Delightful Dozen stamp set.

And for this I've used Sale-a-Bration DSP, Old Olive 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Pool Party scalloped oval and Calypso Coral ink with the greeting from Delightful Dozen with a couple of small butterflies from the Beautiful Wings embosslit die, same DSP just turned over.

It's official - I've fallen for the new Glimmer Paper (Spring Mini p13) seen here for the new 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch and cherry and then the Create a Cupcake stamp set and matching Builder Punch (Mini p22) with Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon at the side.

Mistakes made good !

So none of us throw anything away, as it might come in useful, but when this happens . . . .

. . . patchy printing and not quite level, you can reuse them -
as we all know there's no such thing as a mistake in crafting,
just a change of design ;-)

So here I used the marvellous Mocha Morning Speciality DSP for the lower half of the card, Tiny Tags stamp set in Crumb cake ink on the top half and then and Seam Binding in crumb cake, sentiment from Party this Way with Soft Suded ink on Very Vanilla card stock, punched with the Modern Label punch and a couple of antique brass brads to hold it in place.

Along the same lines, but the horrible weather allowed me to continue the play day I started with Jo yesterday - hee hee hee! Here I've used the Blossom Petals Builder punch and matching Build a Blossom stamp set, Word Window and Scallop Trim Corner punches with the sumptuous Very Vanilla Velvet ribbon - think I'll be playing around with colours for Mother's Day.

All these lovely papers come from the same series, here I've used a Birthday stamp from the Delightful Dozen stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla card stock, Artichoke Denim Jean Ribbon above and below with a Vintage Brad in the top left hand corner and then three antique brass brads in the bottom right hand corner.

Share the Love!

Here are some of the cards I made for Valentine's Day . .

Cherry Cobbler, You are Loved Stamp set and Scallop Trim Corner punch.

Glimmer paper (Mini p13), heart punches, confetti stamp in Real Red

Sentiment stamp from the Delightful Dozen stamp set (p85)

Decorative Label and Heart to heart punches,
with medium sizzlit Timeless Type Junior Alphabet for the U :-)

And finally the Always elegant stamp (IB&C p38) simply because it's heart shaped, in Cherry Cobbler ink with the same colour seam binding - what's not to love?

Love is in the air!

Happy Anniversary to Nis & Mary - their twelth anniversary!

Here is my latest stamp obsession, the You are Loved set (Mini p12),
here individually coloured with Stampin write markers and pearl jewels used for flower centres and then some of the Victoria Crochet trim with a background of Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding.

Always an excuse for matching Gift wrap :-)

This sparked ideas for the next two cards . . . .

The matching wheel for this stamp set if totally gorgeous,
here in Early expresso.

Curly Label Corners

Just needed to send a quick reply card, and my monthly Demonstrator newsletter showcased this fabulous technique where you use the curly label punch (IB&C p117), to look like photo corners and simply embellished with pearl jewels for the fabulous Always Elegant stamp (p38), and the corners are done in Soft Suede to match the ink stamped on Naturals Ivory card stock.

And then a couple of thank you cards . . . . Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder colours using hostess sets . . .

. . . . and then Poppy Parade some Sale-a-Bration DSP and stamp set - as you can see I have managed to use some of my "saved" stash - such a good job I never throw anything away ;-)

Cupcake boys!

Just a quick post to show you some of my recent indulgences from the new Spring Mini (p22)

Even the boys NEED cupcakes for their Birthdays!! Above is a simple shades of blue cupcake with Baja Breeze Seam binding, and the fabulous Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess stamp set.

Below I've used some Brushed Silver card stock for the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet for the names,

and below I've used the candle and Happy Birthday from Party this Way stamp set for the background and then for the Birthday number.

Last but by no means least I've used the square lattice embossing folder and the fabulous Denim Jean Ribbon (IB&C p106) and some pearl jewels for the icing decoration.

Even boys NEED cakes on their Birthday - keep on crafting, Gen xxx

Big thanks to Abergavenny After School Club!

Thought I would show you what we got up to, a simple Easter card - this Every Egg wheel (p28 IB&C) lends itself so well to colouring in :-) Simply bordered by 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon in Daffodil Delight. Then a Decorative Label in Wisteria Wonder and then the Happy Easter greeting from the Delightful Dozen stamp set (p85 IB&C) stamped in Chocolate Chip ink on Whisper White card stock.

We then did a Mother's Day card, using Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral inks and the addition of the Confetti stamp set (IB&C p77). Then using the fabulously free DSP from the Sale-a-bration promotion and the Blossom Party Original Die (Mini p15) for the flower, simply turning each layer of the paper to create the contrast and an In Colour Polka Dot brad (IB&C p109), for the centre. A little Ruffled Ribbon tied at the top (Mini p15) and you're done!!

So we finished with this heart shaped bag, made from confetti card stock, using the confetti heart stamp again in Cherry cobbler and the Petal cone die and the scalloped heart embosslit. This is a very simplified version of the fantastic PDF file that the marvellous Monica came up with - thanks Monica! I simply made the gusset of the bag in Cherry cobbler card stock, seen below. The children were thrilled with their creations and the enthusiasm of the After School Club was quite infectious, special thanks to Marcia for inviting me along - keep on crafting Gen xxx
