Sliding Barn Door

The Talgarth Ladies had requested the Barn Door for their workshop, so this is my version. I used crumb cake and a striped embossing folder to give a textured effect for the barn.

Stamp set: Barn Door

Card stock: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Basic Black,

Whisper White, Old Olive

Ink: Soft Suede, Old Olive,

Stampin' Markers Real Red, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight for the flowers

Accessories: Sliding Door Framelits

I used pennies for the workshop, but have now purchased small washers for the sliding mechanism. There are lots of sliding door tutorials on You Tube, should you need instructions.

It was lots of fun to make, and think I will be using my Chicken stamp set for sneaky peaky Easter greetings ;-) There are SO many possibilities of now you see it, now you don't! I think having the greetings on a continuous piece of card I think stimulates people to move the door, as sometimes what is obvious to card makers isn't SO obvious to others ;-)

Spring Birthday

The Perennial Birthday Stamp Set gives fabulous versatility,

allowing you to build up a bouquet of flowers,

as complicated or as simple as you'd like.

The positioning of these flowers was of course facilitated

by use of my Stamp-a-ma-jig ;-)

Again this card was shared with the terrific ladies of Talgarth, and cased from the Spring/Summer catalogue :-)

Brusho Butterfly

The workshop in Talgarth allowed me to play with the newly released products AND share the simplicity of some of the new techniques.

Again I have cased the Spring/Summer catalogue for the design of this card. The Butterfly is printed on Watercolour card stock with Versa Mark and white Embossing powder for an emboss resist technique with Blue and Green Brusho Crystal Colours

and aqua painters.

Stamp set: Beautiful Day

Card stock: Naturally Eclectic DSP, Basic Black, Watercolour card

Ink: Vera Mark and White embossing powder, Brusho Crystal Colour

Accessories: Tutti-frutti adhesive backed sequins

Simple but effective,

Inspired by Delightful Daffodils!

I think perhaps I am the happiest Welsh stamper ever!

I seriously love colouring in, and have been hoping that there will be a Stampin Up! Daffodil set, and here it is!

I have literally cased this design from the Spring/Summer catalogue, with the adjustment of some Old Olive DSP I had previously stashed ;-) This is a card that we did at a recent workshop in Talgarth.
