Watercolour Workshops

Another stunning Bank Holiday weekend on the weather front, so with all the water falling from the skies I thought we could continue the watery theme with a little catch up on my recent workshops! Here is another take on my fetish with the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch.

Stamp sets: Petite Petals, Simple Stems, Express Yourself
Card stock: Strawberry Slush, Watercolour card
Ink: Strawberry Slush and Staz On
Accessories: Petite Petals Punch, Aqua Painter, Pearl Jewel for flower centre

I'm a big fan of background printing and the watercolour paper allows you to build up the intensity of the colour with an Aqua Painter, and with my love of printing off to achieve a paler image the greeting mirrors the grading in the opposite direction, strongest at the top, palest at the bottom.

I continued with my In Colour theme using Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush.

Stamp sets: Peaceful Petals
Card stock: Pistachio Pudding and Watercolour card
Ink: Staz On, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush
Accessories: Aqua Painters

I love a bit of colouring in and the Aqua Painters make the Arty look really achievable, and as you can see here, less is sometimes more ;-)

Keep on Crafting - makes wet weekends worthwhile! Gen x
