22nd Advent Window - it's a wrap!

All the "children" are growing up fast, so the Tree envelopes this year have been made from the One Horse Sleigh 6"x6" DSP with winter scenes and a little glittery ribbon.

I seriously cheated with some of my smaller presents . . . 

. . . by using DSP and matching the ribbon and tag to co-ordinate ;-)

Each present wrapped, is another off the list ;-)

Nineteenth Advent Window - Woodland deer

 

A winter woodland scene today, using the fabulous DSP from the One Horse Sleigh Suite.

Having the adhesive backed snowflakes also, I wasn't really sure how to tie in copper snowflakes, but this neutral palate allows the copper foil cardstock to  match in with the snowflakes.

I used Staz On Saddle Brown for the sentiment from the Christmas Classics stamp set on vellum to still see the DSP.

 I wanted this card to look like a heart wreath decoration,

 that you can peg on the Tree

As presents start to gather themselves, it's time for tags!

Eleventh Advent Window - Stellar Specialty DSP

I know my Advent blog has gone a bit paper mad this year, but as I am a little tight for time, it's the ideal solution for quick creativity.

Here are two versions of the same 3D star from the specialty Designer Series Paper from the current Mini Catalogue with the first star highlighted with Gold ribbon, and the second with the gorgeous Night of Navy and Gold Glitter ribbon.

 Let the light shine into these dark nights with a little decoration making ;-)

Ninth Advent Window - Frosted Reflection

The Snowflake Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper is SO reflective I've had to take this picture at a strange angle so that I'm not captured in the reflection.

I didn't want to cover over the DSP, so the vellum tag, with the cut outs allows you to see the underlying design. I added rhinestones to the adhesive backed snowflakes, as you can never really have too much sparkle ;-)

Advent Window 6 - Trucking along!

Somehow December is racing along, and before I know it, I'll be putting up my tree! In an effort to create a card more suited to males, here I've used the Trucking Along Stamp Set in festive colours.

I do love two step stamping and lining up the outline of the truck with the real red colour, and using pebble path for the tyres and hubs just gives this little truck a bit more detail.

Advent window 2 - Sleigh ride sparkle

 The novelty of sending a snow inspired card to Australia 

still hasn't worn off, eleven years on!

This year it's the One Horse Open Sleigh Suite

The 6x6" DSP of this suite provides the perfect background, I also used the adhesive backed silver glimmer paper for the die cut tree and greeting shadow. 

The greeting and DSP frame are Lost Lagoon cardstock, and I used Gray Granite to print the Greeting and Horse and Sleigh (coloured with water colour pencils) and snow rabbit, on Whisper White card stock. 

Last, but by no means least, adhesive backed snowflake and rhinestone.

Keep on adding a little sparkle!
