Third Advent Window - Gate Fold Card

Continuing with the versatile Elegant Pine Snowflakes 12"x12" Designer Series Paper, this is a simple design using the DSP colours and dies.

Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Elegant Pine Snowflakes 12"x12" Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Delicate Pines Dies, Cherry Cobbler Gems

The large snowflake of the DSP is detailed in Pretty Peacock and Old Olive, which I've just highlighted with another snowflake die in Pretty Peacock to emphasize the outline.

2nd Advent Window - SU Advent!

So this is going to a be a bit confusing, as I treated myself to the SU

12 days of Crafting Advent Calendar

I'm going to spread my 12 days of crafting through my Advent Blog, and here's the first window goodies.

So with the coordinating stamp set,

I made this card.

I used Cherry Cobbler for the Poinsettia flowers stamp and now matching dies, then Garden Green foliage die and Old Olive larger leaf die, with a Large Gold Hoop from the Modern Christmas Suite Collection, Gold Striped 3/8" Mesh Ribbon with a Greeting for you Mix & Match Ephemera Pack for the Merry Christmas Greeting, and some golden rhinestones for the Poinsettia centres.

Keep the spirit of Christmas alive with Crafting,

First Advent Window - Ornamental Christmas

As always, the temptation to send a Christmas card to Australia with snowy scenes and snowflakes still gets the better of me, while they are in the height of summer. There is always an excuse for a shaker card, but when I took this photo I realised that you wouldn't know that snowfall is a possibility from this photo.

 Stamp Set: Ornamental Christmas
Ink: Versa Ink and Wow White embossing powder
Cardstock: Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper,
Basic Black, Gold Foil
Accessories: Ornamental Christmas Dies, Gold sequins,
retired shaker contents ;-)

So this is what the Shaker snow looks like.

Keep on Christmas Crafting, one project a day,

World Card Making Day

#WorldCardMakingDay25

I know today is nearly over, but just for a bit of easy inspiration I joined the Stampin' Up! team for an hour of virtual inspiration using the Handmade & Heartfelt Kit.

So I now have a wonderful Letter rack that holds the cards I made, and as I'm going to gift this to a friend when I've done all the cards, I thought I'd add some stamps, and handmade tags to fill the letter rack and make the gift complete.

The cards that are in the Kit are for all occasions, so mean you always have a card to hand when you need it, such a useful Kit.

So here are the cards I made, and the matching envelopes means that they're good to go!

Keep on crafting, even when you need a little online inspiration and the reassurance of creating from a Kit, but a handmade card is still wonderful to receive, GenGen XxXxX

On the opposite side . .

Just a quick post today, because as always I hang on to stamps that retire, and continue to use my faves ;-) The reverse of the Iconic Imagery DSP used in the last post looks like fireworks, and Birthdays in December deserve a bit of bling with fireworks and foil cardstock!

Stamp: Retired Happy Birthday
Ink: Vera Mark and Copper embossing powder
Cardstock: Iconic Imagery DSP, Brushed foil in Gold & Copper
Accessories: Small Star punch, Champagne rhinestones

Keep reflecting, GenGen XxXxX

Simple DSP delight

December Birthday can often be taken over, and a friend who has a December Birthday mentioned how much she liked this Winter Meadow DSP from my Advent blog, so I added Old Olive (her fave colour) Glimmer Paper and some rhinestones for a bit of Birthday Sparkle, but to allow the artwork of the DSP to shine through.

Stamp Set: Labelled with Love for the Greeting
Ink: Garden Green
Card stock: Old Olive Glimmer, Winter Meadow DSP
Accessories: Silver & White 1/2" Sheer ribbon,
Greetings of the Season Oval die

Let a little sparkle into each day,

Card Stock: Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake

Birthday card catch up

Somehow the youngsters in your family suddenly have a twelfth Birthday, and dinosaurs don't really seem appropriate anymore! As with so many X Box seems to be a driving force, so thanks to printable images I managed to come up with this card, using Brusho Crystal Colours (as I never really throw anything out)

Retired Happy Birthday Stamp with Garden Green Ink

Card Stock: Full of Life 6"x6" DSP, Whisper White for console

Name Basic Black with Playful Alphabet Dies

Hoping this was a cool enough card for Alfie, keep on crafting to include the youngsters in your life. GenGen XxXxX
