Continuation of the theme!

Further to my many discussions about financing my crafting addiction I am planning to make cards to sell - half the money will cover costs and fund more papercrafting purchase and the other half will go to my chosen charity of Breakthrough Breast cancer. Thanks for the idea Mandy :-) Thanks also to Brigette for her wonderful blog at Cherry Hill Crafts which is where I saw the idea for the above card - she is an inspiration, and when I eventually work out how to list the other blogs I watch I will list it here too! Here you see the background stamp of Belle Toile inked in Old Olive onto Whisper White card stock mounted onto an Old Olive card, corners rounded and Old Olive 5/8" grosgrain ribbon - ends just glued with Tom Bow adhesive to stop fraying ;-) The topper is made with the Whimsical Words Stamp set and just fits in the oval punch! Carry on crafting ;-)

Playing with Perfect Pairs

So here you can see me playing with the Oval All stamp set and my scallop and oval punches. The colours here are from my new set of Rich Regals from top right - Rose Red and clockwise Taken with Teal, Bravo Burgundy and Brocade Blue :-) Now I have some handy toppers for cards or present tags that I need in a hurry! Of course the fun continues with the Say it with Scallops stamp set ...

... with the 2 added hostess stamps of Punches Three at the top of this picture! They have all been punched with the square scallop punch and are seen here in Ruby Red for Christmas, Brocade Blue for the True Blue Friend and then right to left Really Rust, Bravo Burgundy and Taken with Teal - because I really am :-) Keep on Crafting Gen x

Perfect Pairs Temptation!

As you can see I caved into the temptation of the March promotion myself and had a little play this morning! Here I have used the Rich Regals colour family as Spring approaches I have a yearning for colour :-) So here you see the quickest experiment with the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and Butterfly punch. I have also succumbed to the full heart punch - so that is tomorrows indulgence, and will post my attempts here. Have also been busy with my pre-order of the new Mini catalogue and will show the seriously scrumptuous creations in April - something to look forward to - and something for me to get seriously carried away with.
