Last few days of Sale-A-Bration!

Sale-A-Bration is due to end on the 22nd of March and as always I am struggling to catch up with the projects I have been thinking of doing over this promotion period!

So here is a quick Thank you card that I made from some of the FREE products that my orders have qualified for :-)

This is the FREE (with any order of £45 for the Sale-A-Bration period) Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper, Island Indigo Ribbon and I've used Pool Party card stock with the Decorative Label Punch with my favourite sentiment set, (which I used hostess points for so was also FREE), Wacky Wishes and Island Indigo ink.

Very less is more this week, but this DSP speaks for itself really.

Easter Workshop!

So it's the time of year when the Easter Bunny gets to dust off her outfit again!

I was so looking for the excuse to use the new Cloudy Day embossing folder from the new Spring/Summer Mini, so thought we could have a little fun with Punch Art for a bit of March Madness at Llandrindod Wells Card club last Sunday.

Just as I was leaving the house for the workshop I was concerned that perhaps my workshop was too Bunny based, so thought I would also offer an Easter chick too :-)

And this was the Bunny box that we made from the Top Note Big Shot Die, I have really enjoyed doing this punch art as it's a bit like making puppets, the character pops put when the face appears, just perfect for a Mini Lindt bunny and a small bag of mini eggs ;-)

And so to finish the workshop I wanted to show a simple and more importantly quick card using the matching Secret Garden stamp set and dies that allow us all to use the scraps of card that seem to be accumulating in my house at least ;-) so used the Birthday card from my previous post and took this sample along to show a different approach to the same project.

So with this watercolour effect I have used clear emboss again for the outline flowers, background stamping the images underneath too. I used Certain Celery for the leaves, Baja Breeze, Rose Red and Perfect plum with Aqua painters for the flowers and then Baja Breeze for the butterfly from Papillion Potpourri on vellum with matching punch, and Rhinestones for the flower centres and butterfly body.

Keep on crafting, Easter will be here before you know it! Gen xxx

Marvellous March!

As always I like to share my inspiration and this card as you can see this time it came from the wrapping paper :-)

Somehow I managed to justify NEEDING this stamp set and have been itching to get ink onto it!

Stamp set: Flowering Flourishes, Secret Garden and a previous SAB set
Ink: Old Olive, Bashful Blue, Perfect Plum, Versa mark & clear emboss
Misc: Secret Garden framelits die, Rhinestones

The detail of this stamp set is so gorgeous that I have simply used Soft Suede ink and the greeting is from the Wacky Wishes hostess set :-)

And my final creation is for Marvellous Michie, whose Birthday it is TODAY!

This Secret Garden matching stamp set and framelits is opening up endless possibilities. Here I've used clear emboss for the flower stamps with Rich Razzleberry and Perfect Plum and then Garden Green for the foliage. I have just used vellum and Whisper White ink for the butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri set, using the Bitty Butterfly punch from the Spring Summer Mini, with the Beautiful Birthday stamp in Rich Razzleberry ink.
